The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Washington, D.C. wishes to advise of the upcoming Around the World Embassy Tour/ Passport D.C. 2026, scheduled for Saturday, May 02, 2026. Subsequent flyer with additional details to follow.
Over the years, Trinidad and Tobago’s participation in this event has consistently highlighted the vibrancy and diversity of our national culture. This year, the Mission intends to build upon that legacy by placing greater emphasis on the cultural roots and traditions that define our national identity. The Mission is creating an engaging outdoor experience that highlights key focal points of our culture, particularly our culinary traditions and traditional Carnival mas characters.
To this end, we are inviting members of our diaspora to indicate their interest in partnering with the Embassy in showcasing Trinidad and Tobago. In particular, we are seeking:
i. Food vendors providing local cuisine with a focus on our street foods (Bake and Shark, doubles, corn soup, BBQ, coconut water and snow cone etc.)
ii. Traditional mas performers such as moko jumbies, midnight robbers; and
iii. Steelpan performers.
All interested service providers in the areas outlined above are asked to indicate register through the link here https://forms.gle/2zHz2FTGFuqgn3gj8
The Mission will contact persons who have registered via the form to provide further details on participation and next steps.
Your continued support as the Trinidad and Tobago Diaspora, plays an important role in ensuring that our open house is a vibrant and successful showcase of Trinidad and Tobago’s culture. We also take this opportunity to extend warm greetings to the Muslim community, as the end of Ramadan is upon us. May your heart be filled with gratitude and your home with endless joy.
We look forward to partnering with you!
Kindly,
Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
