IT TAKES A VILLAGE - The TTADC Scholarship Initiative

The Trinidad and Tobago Association of Washington DC (TTADC) will be relaunching its scholarship initiative - IT TAKES A VILLAGE on Saturday 30th October at 6:00pm, live streamed on YouTube and Facebook. The grants will be achievement/need-based, recognizing outstanding academic achievement, community service, leadership, and financial need. The scholarships will help fund full-time undergraduate study at any accredited college, university, vocational or cultural program within the United States. 

The event will take the form of an evening of information and entertainment, ranging from Art appreciation, Reading to dance and music. The goal being to inform and solicit the generosity and philantrophy of those in the audience and community to help achieve the goals of the organization to educate our youth.

TTADC supports our members and their families by providing opportunities to ensure that higher education is more attainable for members’ dependents and students of Caribbean descent residing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
