This month, the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Washington DC host's its General Meeting on Friday 25th March at 7:30pm Celebrating Women's Heritage Month.
In addition to our brief business announcements, we will welcome International Comedian, Novelist and Motivational speaker Nikki Crosby as our featured guest. Her talk will be preceeded by a musical performance by renown panist, Ms. Keisha Codrington
Nikki is a well rounded public personality and entertainer. She is the first female stand-up comedian in the Caribbean. Has represented the Caribbean world over, including The Apollo – New York, The Montreal Comedy Festival and various comedy festivals.
A multiple Cacique Award winner for her work in theatre: Best Actress, Best Production, Original Writing and Best Producer.
She is a popular radio personality, having hosted shows on Trinidad and Tobago Radio Network (96.1 WEFM) with the Paul and Nikki Morning, 107.7 fm where she was the Morning Host on Caribbean Super Station (CSS), a radio show that is live weekday mornings in Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, The British Virgin Islands and Trinidad and Tobago. She returned to 96.1WEFM where until recently was one of the morning hosts on The Breakfast Party.
Her TV appearances include “Nikki on the Promenade”, a TV6 produced Carnival Show high-lighting the best of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival and two years with Gayelle the Channel on the “Paul and Nikki” show was brought to television.
Nikki holds degrees in Marketing and Psychology.
