BACKYARD FILM SCREENING

This is an intimate, one-evening gathering showcasing a curated selection of short films by award-winning Trinidadian-American filmmaker, Alyscia Cunningham—including DOUEN II (a proof-of-concept for her upcoming feature), along with bonus screenings of SENSES and NEGRO MOUNTAIN.

While the films explore a range of themes, the evening supports Cunningham’s first feature-length project, DOUEN—a film rooted in Trinidad and Tobago folklore and cultural storytelling. Proceeds from the event will directly support the production costs needed to bring this vision to life.
