On Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 12:30pm-1:30pm (EST), Future Focus Empowerment Institute International, will host its inaugural Global Female Icon Awards 2021, with featured addresses from the likes of Her Excellency Dr. Joyce Banda: First Female President of Malawi, who is recognized as the most powerful female figure in Africa, and #40 in the world as recorded by forbes.
This event will highlight the work of ten (10) undeniable trailblazing example of women in leadership, setting the stage for our upcoming leaders through demonstrated excellence and the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity and civic and social responsibility.
This year, only ten (10) women from a cross section of backgrounds were nominated for one of the organization's most prestigious awards.
Four of those women are Trinidad & Tobago nationals.
They are:
- Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weeks; First Female President of Trinidad &Tobago
- Honorable Minister Pennelope Beckles, MP; Former President of UN Women
- Dr. Astril Webb; President of Healthy Kinder International
- Onika Mars; President of Women of Substance
